I’m so excited to share this post. We love Disney World for peanut allergies, and I know you will too. This time we went for a week and I have to say that one week didn’t feel like long enough, but honestly, I never like to leave the magic of Disney!

As a food allergy family, taking a trip means lots of research and prep.
I'm so glad I have the workbook from the Food Allergy Travel Workshop because it made packing food for my daughter’s allergies SO much easier.
I knew exactly what to bring and what I needed to buy when we got there. No more overpacking or underpacking safe foods which can be a big problem when you manage food allergies. Not only do I use it for our Disney Trips, but also on other trips we’ve taken around the world.
Now let’s get to those peanut allergy snacks at Disney World.
NOTE: Keep in mind that most of these treats were also tree nut-free as well, but always double-check in case things change!
Snacks & Treats for Peanut Allergy at Disney World
Baked Goods for Peanut Allergy Disney World
Magic Kingdom has a lovely main street filled with nostalgic shops and picturesque buildings. The food shops include the Main Street Bakery (operated by Starbucks), a Confectionary, and Ice Cream Shop. Unfortunately, none of these seemed to have peanut allergy-friendly snacks.
So we continued on in our search.
During our trip, there were only 2 baked goods we found that were safe for peanut and tree nut allergies throughout the parks. They are the churros and pretzels.
When we were there, the churros and pretzels were found at some of the small food stands scattered throughout all the parks.
Unfortunately, the locations and snack availabilities change regularly at Disney, so it’s important to do your research every time to avoid disappointment.
A couple of tips; as with ANY food at Disney, always double-check ingredients in the allergy binder and make sure there haven’t been changes in ingredients. Also, there is the chance of cross-contact at the kiosk based on other items they sell, so be mindful of this.
If you want a CURRENT list of where to find the best snacks for peanut allergy at Disney World and exactly where to find them (including the churros and pretzels), check out the Disney Food Allergy Guides.
These guides make finding peanut-free and nut-free foods at Disney quick and easy so nobody has to stress or feel left out.
Because honestly after waiting in line all day long, there’s nothing worse than standing in another line hoping for a snack and finding out it’s NOT allergy-friendly after all and having to start over in yet another lineup.

2. Non-Baked Treats for Peanut Allergy at Disney World
Magic Kingdom: Lemonade Slushy at Cheshire Cafe
We often find that fancy drinks are the way to go when we’re looking for a peanut and nut-free treat and this one was so refreshing and cool! Both of my daughters LOVED slurping this lemonade up! When we were there, we found it at the Cheshire Cafe.
Magic Kingdom Day 2 : Dole Whip
On this day we found a Disney classic: Dole Whip from Aloha Isle.
Yes, it’s peanut and nut-free, YAY! My daughters LOVE this stuff, but if you find the pineapple too strong (this is me), there is a vanilla/pineapple swirl version at this location too.
The cool thing is that you can actually get Dole Whip at other locations around the parks and even at some resorts too! If you want to learn exactly where to find it without a lot of effort, grab the Disney Food Allergy Guides.
Hollywood Studios: Peanut Free Rootbeer Float
Again, the treat that day was a drink, but the addition of ice cream makes it as filling as it is refreshing. Honestly, these cool drinks are so invigorating and well-deserved after all the walking (we walked between 10 - 14.2 km each day!) This time we found a root beer float with peanut-free soft-serve ice cream from Oasis Canteen in Hollywood Studios.
Peanut-free ice cream is a rare thing to find so this was especially exciting for our family. Not only that, but we were talking about root beer floats recently so my daughter was excited to find a peanut-free one at the park.
If you want to find all the most current peanut-free ice cream and frozen treats at Disney World, you’ll want to grab the Disney World Allergy eGuide.
There’s even a BONUS Ice Cream and Frozen Treat Guide with all the ice cream treats you can find in the parks showing their ingredients and where to find them.

EPCOT: Peanut-Free Pork Taco
Epcot is known for its culinary treasures and seasonal festivals. On this day we found a savory taco snack from Jardin De Fiestas (near the Mexican pavilion). This stand is one of the outdoor kitchens featured in the annual International Flower and Garden Festival. Given the higher-end ingredients like goat cheese and apple relish, I was a little worried it wouldn’t appeal to a nine-year-old’s taste buds.
But I was wrong.
Both my daughters declared this to be the best taco they had ever had and insisted on having another for their lunch.
Remember, the snacks for the festivals change and you likely won’t find this exact same snack when your there. For a current listing of the foods fit for peanut allergy at EPCOT and other parks AND resorts (whether there is a festival or not), check out these Disney World Food Allergy Guides.

Animal Kingdom: Mickey Ice Cream Bar
We bought our Mickey Ice Cream Bar at Animal Kingdom, but these little goodies were found in select kiosks around the parks. These are peanut-free and have a thick and creamy chocolate crust surrounding a rich vanilla center. Perfect for the hot day we spent at the Animal Kingdom.
SPECIAL REMINDER
Please remember to double-check the ingredients of everything since things have likely changed since we were there. To do this, you can wait in line and ask for the handy allergy binder at every quick-service food station.

I know some of you are wondering, are peanuts allowed in Disney World?
YES. There are peanuts allowed in Disney World and there are some products that have peanuts in them as well as many items that have been contaminated with peanuts.
For example, I have seen caramel apples covered in peanuts. Not only are these apples unsafe, but so are the products in the same display case. This is important to keep in mind, but if you keep your and your child’s hands clean and practice good allergy habits, this doesn’t have to be a problem.
